May 19, 2016 – SOGAA attended “THE MEETING”, a powerful play by Jeff Stetson which depicts a fictional, yet real and relevant conversation between two of our greatest leaders Minister Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Featuring Carltaise Ransom (Malcolm X) and Curtis McNeil (MartinLuther King) , Marcus Antoine (as Rashad ‘Malcolm’s bodyguard) and masterfully directed by Timeeka Addison. The production was presented by the Carltaise Ransom Royal Hues Melanin Manor Ensemble Theater and was held at the Eubie Blake Jazz and Cultural Art Center which is led by the incomparable Troy Burton.
